Business phone systems are fundamentally going to change. Companies like Aircall, Quo, Talkdesk, and Cloudtalk became successful by enabling human teams to handle phone calls from their computers. Now, they are adding AI agents, stitching together old and new concepts.
We believe the future will look different. Humans and AI agents will collaborate to provide the best possible service for customers. Phone systems will need to be rethought from the ground up. What does a world look like where both human and AI teams support customers over the phone? How do you manage AI to human collaboration/handoffs? How do you handle incoming calls when humans are unavailable? How do you proactively reach out to customers before the problem even occurs?
